A RENEWED SIMA!
Over the past 100 years, SIMA has accompanied the farming world as it has evolved. At a time of in-depth transformation for the sector, the tradeshow had a duty to change too. With its dates henceforth set in November of even-number years, SIMA adapts to the needs of exhibitors and visitors. This new timing naturally fits in with the economic decision cycle and reinforces the show’s role as a business facilitator.
For this 2022 edition, SIMA sets out its new ambition, turning resolutely to the century ahead, by ringing the changes. From an agricultural machinery show, it has become the meeting place for solutions and technologies for agriculture.
As the show for all forms of agriculture, it defends the balance between productivity and sustainability, and founds itself on the values of sharing, trust and
responsibility. In the space of 100 years, the farming world has changed out of all proportion. Throughout these years, SIMA has always been by the sides of farmers. It has brought everyone from the farming world together, fostered dialogue, anticipated and supported change in the sector.
Following a postponed edition, in 2022 SIMA makes a festive comeback to celebrate this anniversary. Over the space of five days, the past and future of the show will be feted through dedicated content and special
features. These celebrations kicked off on 6 November at a unique evening function where exhibitors, journalists and guests will meet up to discover the 2022 winners of the SIMA Innovation Awards and SIMA Farming Awards, before sitting back and enjoying the planned festivities.
